Why this is hard now
Over-blocking costs more than under-blocking
01
AI Max matches without your keyword list
Google began auto-upgrading Search campaigns on 1 September 2026. Queries now come from landing pages and assets, not only the keywords you wrote. Negatives are still honoured — they are the remaining control.
02
A long list shrinks what Smart Bidding can explore
Negatives do not delete history or reset learning. They cut the query space the model is allowed to bid into. Block too widely and you starve exploration and catch converting traffic.
03
So the long list is the expensive one
Tools that brag about finding more waste faster are selling you the risk. Industry guidance is 30–80 validated negatives, not 500 imported ones.
How it works
Four stages, and you can check every one
Stage 01
Parse
Streams the CSV inside a Web Worker. Detects the header row, the delimiter, and European number formats.
Stage 02
Prove
Tests every term against your confidence bar using a Poisson or binomial model. No conversions is not the same as proven waste.
Stage 03
Guard
Simulates what each negative would have blocked across the whole report. Anything that touches a converting search term in this file is refused.
Stage 04
Export
Collapses survivors into the smallest set, then builds an Editor CSV or power-posting TXT in the worker.
Export 90 days. The last 1–3 days of a Search terms file are incomplete, and ZeroConv does not pretend it filtered them.
The proof
Statistics decide. Not a language model.
Every suggestion arrives with the number behind it: how much it spent, how many clicks it took, what the threshold was, and exactly which queries the negative would have caught in this file. If a converting query is in that blast radius, ZeroConv refuses the suggestion and tells you why.
You can re-derive any verdict by hand from the report you uploaded. Zero conversions in a short window is not the same as never converting.
Flagged at 95% confidence: 0 conversions after $89.87 spend (3.0 × your $30 target CPA)
Other search terms rows are an exact figure from the file. They cannot be negated.
Kill
Zero-conversion spend that cleared your bar
Leaky
Converts, but over target CPA. Never auto-blocked
Watch
Not enough evidence yet. Revisit next run
Winners
Protected, and used to test every negative
Partial
Matched a converting variant. Stays
Brand
Never Kill. Held out of the non-brand benchmark
Your report never leaves your browser
We never connect to your Google Ads account. Parsing, statistics, blast radius, exports and PDFs all run on your machine. There is no endpoint that accepts a search term, because we never wrote one. Each negative is tested against converting search terms in this file, not against your live keyword list.
Stays on your machine
Every search term, keyword, campaign name and the CSV itself.

Questions first-timers ask
Do you need access to my Google Ads account?+
No. We never connect to your Google Ads account. You export a Search terms CSV and drop it here. Parsing stays in the browser. Blast radius is tested against converting search terms in that file, not against your live keyword list.
Why is the full analysis free?+
The engine runs in your browser, so a run costs us nothing. Free is the work: the list, the proof, the Editor file. Pro is memory between monthly drops. Single Pass is a client-ready PDF of a run you already finished.
Zero conversions in the file — does that mean the term never converts?+
No. Offline conversion imports and 30–90 day windows routinely land after the export. Export 90 days. The last 1–3 days of any Search terms file are incomplete, and ZeroConv cannot filter them — the standard export has no per-row date.
Can you see all of my search-term spend?+
No. Queries below Google’s privacy threshold are rolled into Other search terms rows. ZeroConv reads that cost as an exact figure from your file and labels it cannot be negated. The visible Kill list is only the part you can actually block.
Can you tell if AI Max took credit for conversions I already had?+
On one file we can show a lower bound: AI Max-labelled rows whose query text also appears as exact or phrase. That overlap is not full incrementality. Month-to-month trend of that split is Pro. We never call those rows “new” unless a prior saved run exists.
Where do the 90 / 95 / 99% bars come from?+
They are statistical confidence thresholds, not savings claims. A term must spend enough with zero conversions to clear the bar you chose. Lowering the bar is a labelled choice, not a hidden default.
Will the file import cleanly into Google Ads Editor?+
CSV columns are Campaign, Ad group, Keyword, Match type. TXT is power-posting syntax. Never mix brackets or quotes with the Match type column. Copy is for TXT only — do not paste a CSV.
Do I need an account to analyze a report?+
Free needs no account. Pro and Single Pass need an email login, never a Google Ads login. An account stores aggregates, filenames, settings and irreversible hashes — never a search term.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?+
Yes. Cancel in one click on the billing screen. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Free local analysis stays available either way. Single Pass is a delivered PDF and is not refunded after it is generated.
